Default Bringing Back Some Memories

I was sorting through a little box belonging to my late mother and found these little British coins dating back a while. It's cold, foggy and freezing here so I decided to have a play with the extension tubes and see what I can do with them. Anyway I know what the coins are but do you? I hope you like the abstract image at the end, just me having a play.
Have a great weekend folks.

Great clear shots with beautiful detail in the first two. I'd say your play day paid off!

Thank you Judy, just holding them and looking at them made me feel closer to my mum somehow. It's been a nice day, thank you for looking and your support as always.
David.

Thank you for your lovely comment, I have enjoyed sitting and trying to capture a moment with these memories. I know our countries may be separated by many miles but our history goes back a long way. Long may it continue to do so
Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Leona, lovely to hear from you, glad you like my little attempt at an Andy Warhol type image. Thanks for stopping by.

Love that last one -- very cool! And the first two are great as well -- I think the second is actually my favorite, with that wonderful muted violet background. Very nicely done!
