A lovely smile at the front and smiling eyes at the back. A lovely shot Jo and nice DoF too. Thank you for sharing it with us.

A delightful shot very well composed. I like how the faces are aligned going in different directions, in my opinion, a great choice!

I've been looking at this shot, I've just realised, for almost fifteen minutes! That in itself means that it is something special*. Even after that time, I still couldn't decide whether you should burn in the boy's ear, ie, make it a little darker, or not. Then I opened the reply box and had to scroll down to see the image again, and yes, I think my first impression carries. The ear grabs the eye just a little too much (how's that for a verbal image, an ear grabbing an eye?!) It is a delightful photograph and one I think you should be proud to have shared here or anywhere. TFS

*I just realised how pompous that sounded! I meant that the fact that the image could capture anyone's attention for that long was good, not the fact that I looked for that long. Sheesh, somebody pass me down a ladder, I can't get out of this hole I've dug!

Great shot...one of the warmest b&w shots I've seen in a while...conveys real feeling and emotion.

I think the picture is perfect as is....it's his smile and your eyes that grab you and it's lovely. The b/w is wonderful too.
