Default Foggy View

I took my camera and my dog for a foggy walk yesterday. This is the second day this week we have had fog. At least yesterday was warmer, above freezing anyway.

Have a great weekend!

Great set Tom! I like the way you have put this together. It looks like Bradford pear trees along the pond, I bet they look nice in the warmer months by the water.

Great composition on all of these Tom. I looks pretty cold out there. The first one with the bench for me is the pick of the set. Thanks for sharing your foggy day buddy.

Dave.

Love that first one, the seat takes it from a snapshot to a wonderful landscape. Any room in the original to replace the little bit of bank that goes out of frame at camera right? I'm not 100% sure but I think it would improve what is already a great shot.

I also like the trees fading into the fog in #2.

That is one peeved looking bird in #3! Love the glint off the top of its head.

TFS. Good to see that at least some of the Northern Hemisphere is coming out from under the ice and snow.

Tom, an excellent set. The composition on your first and second are superb, with the first being my personal favorite. I went back and looked again at your third and now I appreciate it even more than when I first saw it. I like the wispy look of the feathers and you've positioned it well....but the first is still my fave.Well done!!

Thanks Jamie, Yes those are Bradford Pears. I like how they maintain their shape naturally. Thanks again!

Thanks Dave! I like the bench image as well. Last week it was in the single digits Fahrenheit, so yesterday was balmy.

Thanks Jim. Most of the Cranes I have seen are very camera shy. I got fairly close to this guy, I think because it was cold and he was reluctant to fly. Thanks again.

Thanks Mike, I owe most of my improvements in photography to this website and the kind guidance of it's members... like you! Thanks Mike.
