On My Way to WalMart

I was so excited to get out and about today as we here in IA have had a heat wave of mid-30 temps the last couple days! Unfortunately, it was gray & quite overcast/foggy out. These shots were taken as I was driving the 25 miles to our nearest WalMart. I played around with the contrast & cropped the barn photos.

I like this series of pics, they really convey the feel of winter. The last one of the barn is particularly good, the muted tones & great composition really work.

Thanks! The last is my favorite, too. I'll admit, I had a tough time shooting in such dismal weather from behind the wheel - can't wait for the blue skies!
