Default Follow the trail.... to 3D!

Hey just wanted to share my first decent attempt at stereo photography. I really quite enjoy it and might have to get a little more into it.

I like the shot, and I'm glad I'm not the only one not getting what I'm supposed to be "seeing."
Further explanation of the why and how would be greatly appreciated by me!

Nice shot! Is the 3D effect supposed to be that it looks like two paths diverging from the center?
