Default Rural Decay - Remembering my childhood

Yesterday, I had my 2nd photo walk of the year. I choose to go to my grandparents old place. The photos sparked many fond memories of my youth. This one is perhaps my favorite. The others can be seen at my flickr site.

Very pretty.
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to your grandparent's, although after looking at your others on flikr, I'm sure it was bittersweet.

Keep those memories sharp Mike. Never knew my grandparents, but memories of Mum and Dad are what I fall back on many times. So precious. Nice shot too. PAUL

The focus is quite nice! And i love the color. The orange of the grass and the blue of the water contrast each other well. Maybe because they're on opposite sides of the color wheel i dunno. haha
Great photo

Thank you all very much! Mpow you're so correct. It's difficult to see things you remember differently in such a state.
