Cliche? The selective coloring?? Actually you did it right The point of interest in in color! It works. Some people don't like selective color but then some people like mustard on french fries First and foremost do YOU like it? If you enjoy it and are proud of it and smile everytime you see it then thats all that matters! For me? I like it. Well done.

That is great - perfect use of selective coloring. So, no, not cliche, at least not for me. It would only be cliche if you did everything you shot that way - but you know when to use it.

It is definitely not cliche' in the slightest! It is very well done in fact. You really captured the life of the fish.
That sounds odd, but with the color selection and the gray (i've never figured out if it's grey or gray) framing the fish, you see the picture come to life!
I think it's extraordinary.

I got sick of selective colouring after seeing one too many bridal bouquets done with it in some cheesy pose...

Things which are cliche are usually so for a reason!! They work, and look nice! And this is a well done one!
