That is great - perfect use of selective coloring. So, no, not cliche, at least not for me. It would only be cliche if you did everything you shot that way - but you know when to use it.

It is definitely not cliche' in the slightest! It is very well done in fact. You really captured the life of the fish.
That sounds odd, but with the color selection and the gray (i've never figured out if it's grey or gray) framing the fish, you see the picture come to life! I think it's extraordinary.
