Default My Spot

My cat, Spot (a.k.a. "Doofus").
He very kindly decided to relax in the chair by the front window the other morning, so I was able to use the natural light.

Wonderful photos, Mary Anne! Love the detail on his ears, and the lighting is wonderful. And that second pose -- so relaxed, yet the alertness in his eyes. I'm madly in love with my dog, but cats do have such wonderful personalities!

Helen - I love dogs, too, and would love to have one, but we're just gone too much and knew it wouldn't be fair to leave them alone so much. The cats really don't care!
We get our dog fixes with my sister and brother, though.

I take a lot of pictures of our two "boys," but few come out well. They are HARD to shoot and tend not to be cooperative! (If I crouch down, they run over to be petted.) I get excited when I finally get a nice one.

This behaviour is the same as my own dog, it's almost impossible to have a good capture of her.

Spot looks like he's full of personality and a real cutie, a great companion and model!
