For all of you who so generously sent your best wishes and prayers for Debbie, I am here to give you an update....
![]() Her surgery was successful, but her recovery is taking some time. She is still having the same pain, as the infections were so bad that it is taking a long time to heal. She is still unable to drive or be on her feet for very long. She was one of the first to have this particular surgery. So, hopefully, with time, she will be herself again. She has not stopped smiling through it all. She wanted me to relay her thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers. She was in tears when I sent them to think so many people cared. So, on behalf of my best friend, I would also like to give you my thanks for your prayers as I am convinced they worked. Debbie and Leona

A beautiful portrait Leona & thank you for the update. I was thinking about her a couple of weeks ago & wondered how she was doing. I didn't want to ask you about her in case things weren't going well. But I'm happy to hear that the surgery went successfully. Sorry to hear that recovery is delayed, but it sounds like it's at least heading in the right direction which is great news. One step at a time. Please send her our love and best wishes.

Thank you so much for the update Leona. I know a lot of people will be pleased to know that she is on the road to recovery even if that road is a long one. It was nice to see her lovely smile again. I'll still be keeping her in my prayers.
Hugs David

Thanks, Leona, for the update. I know the healing time can have its own challenges, and I hope she's back on top of things soon. Beautiful portrait, too!

The prayers will continue Leona. Please tell her that. This is a long road, but we will walk it with her.
