Default Action on the dirt

Last weekend Steve and I went to the Huntly Speedway which we haven't been to for years, I had forgotten how much fun it was.

The guy sitting on the left wearing sunglasses and a white cap in our son Dylan with his 'girl-as-friend' of three years...who's he trying to kid, lol.

Huntly Speedway, NZ

Where did this guy get his licence a cereal packet?

It amuses me at how everyone cheers and gets excited when cars crash into each other or into a wall, what about the poor person driving, I don't think they would be too happy.

Ooops

...See he had to sit the rest of the race out.

Out of action

As the sun starts to go down the racing starts to heat up.

The guy in the orange safety jacket is one of the photographers...I wish I could have been up that close to the action taking photos instead of having to dodge heads and poles.

Huntly Speedway, NZ

Thanks for looking.

Hey Angela, great pics especially the last one.

As for your son - just because she's a girl and she's his friend, you jump to the conclusion that she's his girlfriend! Give him the benefit of the doubt.

Cheers,

Great pictures, people sitting in the sun having fun, you don`t want any snow? do you?. The last photo in this set is fabulous, you get that feeling of speed from it, is this what they call panning?

Great action shots Angela! But I must confess that the biggest wow I got was scrolling down to the first one and seeing the beautiful scenery that provides the stunning backdrop around the track. Fabulous.

What a great series, Angela! I love the action in the last one, and the reality of the 3rd. And what a beautiful setting!
