Talking MY 1000th POST!! WOW!!

Not my best works of art, but I couldnt think of a better way to help celebrate my 1000th post - celebrate it with you all from DPS and with my "babies". We went out in the boat last weekend and in the middle of the Manukau Harbour are sand bars where at low tide they pop out and one can go roaming in the middle of the Harbour. Thought what a great summer treat for the dogs (Duke & Jess) - no need for a leash as its not like they could go far.... Plus I had to add the photo my husband took of me and our dog Jess having cuddles. Isnt she just the sweetest??!! Hope that image with me in it doesnt scare you all off!!

I would also like to take this time to say a HUGE thank you to all of you here at DPS. It has been great viewing your images, and having you comment on mine (when I acutally post some....). I have learnt soooo much from this site. And here's to another 1000 posts.

Congrats on reaching 1000 post Michelle. I said for Steve to look at the first pic first before he reads the story because if I hadn't of read it I would have thought your dog was running on water...a crack up shot anyway. The last shot of you and the dog cuddling is sooooooooooooo cute and adorable. DPS is a great place isn't it. With us living so close maybe one day we could meet up in person.

Hi guys - thanks for the comments. No fishing was done, but Errol & I did have a picnic lunch on the bonnet (bow?) of the boat with the two dogs standing below drooling... The water wasnt quite low enough for the sand to pop through - it was mid-calf deep, but it was enough for the dogs to get out and wash out 'em fleas! LOL. Must definately have to catch up!

Greetings for your 1000th!
You have lovely friend there, Shellie. In the last photo he's so human, staring at the lens, head on your shoulder...

A miracle, it's a miracle! The dog is walking on water!

Congratulations Michelle, a great set of pics and the last one is an absolute killer - I love it.

Cheers,
