I have absolutely no idea.. .. which way is up !!

gorgeous colors - but composition wise it lacks orientation, object / subject. No defined point of focus. Now if you clone a tree, from another image, or a moon, you will create something truely stunning by using the right color (subject- object) in the correct area(s).

EXPLORE and use - and excercise -YOUR IMAGINATION !! then.. .. after many attempts,.. .. post your favorite and make me 'gasp' !!

What comes to mind?? Mist in the valley with the sunset/sunrise hitting the top.

Great image. Both my husband & I like it. This is something he would hang on the wall, so that is saying something!! TFS.

Just one of you is actually thought very close to my original picture which I will post from home (no flickr at office). But happy to feel your feelings!!

Smile the original picture

On way back to home yesterday I saw the beautiful combination of fire and water on sky.. The picture was taken while driving so it might be not of great quality but still I loved the contrast!

I actually rotated the picture to make it interesting .. most of your thoughts were almost there.. here is the original image..
@bottom, sky is on fire, water is cooling it from top

Since I clicked it while driving, it was difficult to get the right composition.. here is another view, a long shot of that evening sunset.. hope you like these...

Gorgeous colors, Sri! Thanks for posting the original image too -- visually it seems to make more sense to me that way. And great composition in that last one!
