Default Jan 11 - 365: My lamest yet

Jan 11th of 365 Day

After a long day of travel and meetings I didn't have the energy to do anything more creative than this. But 12 / 13 are better I promise.

Well, the card says "Work and Relax". Looks like you could use a little less of the former and bit more of the latter. Keep it up!

I'm also doing a 365 and it is a little daunting, especially when it's only day 13. I was a little blocked myself today. Keep sharing your shots, it helps all of us. We can't be great photographers everyday!

Ha, that's funny. That is what worries me about starting one of these projects - I would end up taking pictures of my toes! Good luck with the rest of the year.

Cheers,

ha ha ha, I totally agree... I would peter out at about day 10..... LOL

Great shot though. Hopefully you get to do a bit more relaxing and rejuvinating to help get the photo-mojo working again . TFS.

I think if you have you expectations set too high for what you should achieve every day with your camera, you'll definitely "fail" in your own mind. I started out my 365 with the mindset of it being a photojournal, so each pic captures a moment of my day or my thoughts. And I don't care whether I use my DSLR, point & shoot or my iPhone camera. Photographic excellence every day probably isn't achievable by people like you & I who work full time & have other things going on! So don't beat yourself up - if this photo gives you a laugh & reminds you somehow of your day or just about how exhausted you were, then it's a winner.

Thanks for all the kind words. I’m very hard on myself and when I commit to something I give it everything. It felt like I just left something on the table this day when I had chances to do something special. Perfectionism is a personal flaw that I’m working though but I thank you all for your encouragement. I have I hope the next few days pictures capture you as I’m much happier with my work.
