Default Cemetery in the snow

Today in my lunche break I walked down to the local cemetery and took these whilst it was snowing (more on Flickr)

Wow! nice captures, love the last of the head stones those red flowers really standout against the snow, thanks for sharing, cheers Steve.

Very nice. I especiall like your last one. The red and green really pop against the snow and brighten the scene.

Oh, I absolutely LOVE these, especially the first and third! Great composition, and so nice and crisp. Sure was worth freezing your butt off to get these (and dang it looks COLD)!

Can you please tell me what settings you used. I am off overseas shortly and not sure what to use in snow

I just LOVE these photos. I just spent ages gazing at them. I was also reading the inscription on the gravestones. Thanks for sharing.

I like the way you have captured the first shot, you have given it a magical feel. I like the composition and the way the red flowers stand out in the last shot.

Thank you. I went there with the intention of finding some colourful flowers to stand out against the snow. I wasn't disappointed!

Thank you, a very kind comment. It wasn't as cold as it has been, about zero c i think. I was more worried about the snow flakes making my camera wet!

Hi. The ISO was 100. I played with the aperture for DOF and as it was such awful conditions, I let the camera sort out the shutter speed. Hope that helps!

Thank you Rachel. It was your post earlier in the week that inspired me to go therre today.

Finally a final image. I liked this one, because the bush looked as though it had icing sugar on it.
