Default Dessert from a beginner

Ice cream Peony

Good day to you all, I'm completely new to this and feel a bit overawed by the unaccustomed terminology (threads, posts etc. etc.). Still, with the assistance of DPS excellent Help system I might be getting there. The proof of the pudding .. let's see if this works. This is a shot I took very early one morning last summer before the sun had burned off the dew.
Exif: Canon 400D
lens 18-55 mm (kit)
Focal length 55mm
Aperture f18
Shutter 1/800
Iso 400

Kistabill, WELCOME to DPS
This is really lovely...the way the dew shines is wonderful...the lighting is great
I hope to see many more from you and there are many here willing to answer any questions you may have and guide you through the system.

Thats amazing how the fine droplets of dew make a really tight pattern on the leaves. If this is the quality of your first post, I can't wait to see more. Welcome amongst us. God bless. PAUL
