Exclamation Why did I have to do this?

These are some shots I took today. I like taking pics of things that are not thought attractive and gorgeous by most people. I would like to know what do you think about the compositions in the following shots. What are the compositional corrections that can be made to make them better? And what about the background, is it too white and bright? Is it better if I make it a little darker? Finally, if you had to just pick one of these to print in A4 size, which one would that be? Besides these, if there are other things you would like to point out, please do so.

I think they are well done...I like the second two best...I'm glad you put it in critique, because you can't get that in this forum.
