Question Snow White?

I was playing with Photoshop trying to achieve a highkey-like look. Don't know if I made it, here is my first attempt:
Snowwhite - High Key

The original:
Snowwhite

Which one is better?

The face really "pops" in the first shot. Cool work and it is a fun shot overall. Her hands may be a bit washed out though. Good job!

I have to agree, about her face really popping in the first one! TFS.

Thank you for watching and sharing your opinion mates, should I darken her hands then?

Maybe just burn and dodge a bit? Its really up to you. I think it looks good in the first place, maybe just a little room for improvement, the snow is such a large area of white that the light colored hands with little shadows seem to blend in? It could just be me really. Try out what you think works best, it never hurts to try all sorts of different things.

You're right, I have to experiment a bit more. Thank you for your useful hints!

Thank you Sox, I was afraid to mess it all up in processing that shot!

I like the shot, as for the better..both have qualities the other doesn't. The 1st one the face seems exposed better but the snow and hands seem a bit over and the 2nd the tones are more real. I like them both though. Nice shot
