Lightbulb I Come From The Water

I Come From The Water
----------------------------------------
"I come from the water
That weren't no easy thing
It's more than nature
It's like my destiny"
----------------------------------------

I took this shot the other day from the same set as: Sappy, but I was originally not that happy with it and really just overlooked it. I was over viewing the folders of shots I took recently and found this and for some reason it just stood out to me so I decided to finish some PP work on it in photoshop and got a result that I was happy with. This is probably the last of the series of abstract shots I'll be posting for a bit, but if a lack of subjects is still there, I somehow find a way to make something to shoot. I hope ya'll like this shot as much as I did, shot outside my window at some water on a rooftop.

I Come From The Water

Model: NIKON D90
ISO: n/a
Exposure: 1/1250 sec
Aperture: 3.2
Focal Length: 50mm
-------------

I also tried a black and white version... not sure what to think?

That makes a great abstract image. I like them both, maybe the second a little more.

Cheers,

Gerard

They are great abstracts!

I like them both, but I like the colors in the first.

Worth the work K.T. I have a leaning towards No 2 also. Patterns and textures that are well captured make great viewing. Thanks. PAUL

Thank you very much for your input. I figured I should put both up as I know some are partial to B/W.

Such is the nature of people, some will like color, and some will like the black and white pictures. Must've been a good call to post both Thanks for the warm comments.

Thanks Paul, I'm glad you enjoyed the compositional concepts of the black and white shot. Thank you for checking it out!

To others who viewed and didn't comment: Thank you! Thanks for taking the time to check out the shots, and I hope you enjoyed them.
