Default Saturday in the snow

Got out and about early last Saturday and caught some scenery (and a deer) with the camera. Just have to remember to wear my boots next time I decide to wander...

Fancy meeting you here...
I'm not sure who was more curious, me or the deer.

Snow on the stump
Managed to catch the glitter on the snow as the sun hit it.

Sunrise at the Stream
And the early morning sun as it hit the stream.

I just love snowy pictures. That deer looking straight at you is so lovely!

Thanks, she really was inquisitive, she hung around long enough for me to get off a full dozen shots before I walked away and left her to do whatever it is deer do on snowy mornings.

Thank you, I love the challenge of making snow shots come out well.

Thanks for your comment. I find my eye drawn to the second shot, perhaps because it is less busy, but I like the third too.

These are lovely shots. Down under in sunny Australia I am loving seeing everyone's photos of the snow.

no boots out in that stuff???? How long did you last or rather how long did it take your wet red feet to thaw out? Beautiful shots you got though.....I am amazed at people who find deer in the wild and they manage to stay there long enough for you to get a shot
