That does look sorta tilt-shift. I like the image and what you have done with it. It's interesting how some selective blur makes things look small, must find out more about how our eyes & brains are fooled this way.

I think it looks great! I'm hoping to have a go at this soon and I'll be very happy if my first attempt is anywhere near as great as yours.

Basically, it's all an illusion. Our minds, naturally, see a shallow DOF as being something small and up close, even if we've never even heard of "depth of field." We just can't comprehend something large and far away as being un-evenly focused, no matter what other clues there are that it's really a huge building (just as a small model, if you can get a large enough DOF, can look extremely real.)

thanks guys! I think the next time I try "tilt-shift", I'll use a photo that has more stuff at different depths, to emphasize the effect. But it was good to learn how it all works in PShop.

Welcome to DPS....there is some kinda of a tilt, very minor, it gives it a very unique look.
