Hello there - these are great depictions of the winter season, especially the 2nd photo .. I like the suns rays on both images ... very well done

I think the sky speaks for itself and doesnt need anything else its amazing...the second one is gorgous..magical and just lovely..thanks for sharing these, i really enjoyed them.

You're right, they are very nice images of a winter sky. I especially like the second one, magnificent rays.

Yep, I'm on board with everyone else. The second one shines for me. Mainly because the white of the snow is much more vibrant, not to mention how visually cool the wooden gate is. I mean, what could be better than a snow covered wooden gate?

I enjoy them both, but yes the second stands out because it has a foreground subject. I completely understand your conundrum...the light is beautiful, and there isn't anything around to add depth!
