Default Posting for my friend Pam, A red cardinal.

I hope the mods will forgive me for posting this as i posted last night, but i am posting this on behalf of a friend. I thought this might give her the courage to join our forum. I think its a lovely photo taken this morning of a red cardinal in a tree in her front yard down in Tennesee.

I just love the contrast of a bright cardinal against the bare branches of trees in winter. I see them all the time outside my window but don't have a lens that will zoom in enough for a good shot.

What a great photo. Thanks for sharing for her! Hopefully she will join us.
Funny, i took some pics of a Cardinal this weekend and i ave a similar shot with the branch right in the way of his eye! Then he flew off! Hopefully he will come back around so i can try again.

That is a beautiful shot - so dreamy looking. It is a really fresh image of a cardinal.

Gorgeous Lorraine! The color is so vibrant and he really stands out amongst the monotones in the background. Love the little splashes of color here and there around him too!

Hope to see you soon Pam!

C'mon Pam! If I can do it, so can you!
It is a great place to learn and to see beautiful and creative images from some wonderful people!

PS I love your cardinal. (They are my favorites, and I'm sad because I haven't been filling my bird feeders because we're trying to discourage the squirrels that are trying to move into our house.)
