Default High Desert New Mexico Set

I am fortunate enough to be stationed at a military installation that has some of the most beautiful scenery surrounding it. Too bad my photography skills do not do it justice. Hopefully you enjoy my attempt.

Beautiful shots.
I'm sure the sky there is so clear and dark at night, ideal for breathtaking astronomical views of Milky Way.

Chad, I love that high desert! Nice set, but it's the last one that just grabs my heart -- composition that pulls me right into the photo and colors that really show off the beauty of the desert.

As always thanks for the wonderful comments. The encouragement that I receive here is definitely enough motivation to go back out and improve.

Of course the tree shots have me...that first one...I can almost picture a cowboy come riding up on that trail. These are really lovely.

Leona - I specifically went up there for the tree shots actually. The family and I went hiking on the same trails last summer and I got a couple of pretty good pics of the trees with my wife's point and shoot but she had it programmed with a time and date stamp so needless to say we couldnt really enjoy them. I am pretty happy with these. Thank you for the comment.

Those are lovely. The black and white one is my favorite. Its is just perfect in composition, texture and contrast!
