Default Snow and Polaroid Land 100 Camera Shots

7/365 Let it snow!
It’s pretty much been snowing here non-stop today. I was also the stupid one, that went out in it. All to get lunch with my friend, Sidra. We had Olive Garden, so freezing my ass off was almost worth it. Getting to see her was what really made it worth it. I miss her. Anyways, I took some pics with my fancy schmancy camera out of my front door and didn’t like them. Then I took this one while driving with my cell phone and kinda rather love it (with various exceptions).

8/365 After all is said and done…
I woke up and the snow had stopped…for now. I hear that we are getting more tonight. Oy vey. Anyways, this is the view from my front door of the “snowscape”. *Note to self: Buy snow boots.*

11/365 A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words...
This is my grandpa’s old camera. It is a Polaroid Land Camera 100. It’s kinda cool because I’m sure it could tell all kinds of stories. It came with all the original parts and even had the receipt still taped to the box. The only editing I did in Photoshop was to mess with the curves a bit.

Really nice "vintage" treatment to your first 2 (especially your first) photo - the post work makes these photos stand out.

And I've never seen that type of Polaroid before. I'm sure it could tell - and already has told - quite a few "stories."

Thanks for sharing.

Great Set! You did well with the cell phone in the 1st one, I like the pp you did on it.
The Land Camera shots are Great! Nice perspective on the last one.
I wonder if you can still buy flash bulbs and film for that beast???
Thanks for sharing these

Thanks! I know, I'd never seen one either until I took it out of the box! And it took me forever to figure out how to open it all up.

Thanks! I was really surprised that I even got that photo with my phone. Sometimes it surprises me and I get something great. LOL.

Well, I know they stopped making polaroid film awhile ago and by now I've heard most it has expired. However, I heard that they are going to be making film again soon (maybe this year lol) so I hope that this is one of the cameras they will make film for.
