Default who knew?

Found out Minolta AF lenses are 100% compatible with my Alpha .. who knew? Well, I lucked into a second hand Maxxum 50mm f1.7 .. I don't know if this is what you guys sometimes refer to as a nifty 50, but I'm stunned by the DoF it offers, and learning how to control the light outdoor .. whoa .. anywho, here's a couple from my test run through the house, 2 close ups of a little palm plant tropical in the living room...

That is what I said when I got my 35mm f/1.8.... incredible with the DOF. Very nice shots as always. Enjoy your new lens.

I was able to get a f28 1:2.8 for next to nothing ,originally for an OM olympus, but with an adapter, fits my dslr. A great lens, my avatar was taken with it. It's worth keeping an eye out for such lenses. Enjoy your new lens.
