Talking All of them were flying kites, even the kid with the rod

It was a fine day to fly kites and a great day to take shots of people flying kites.

Flying kite - Father & son

Flying kite - Friends

Flying kite - Alone

This kid gave a new meaning to 'fly fishing'
Flying kite - Just plain weird

P.S. - I replaced the sky in the 1st shot.

I'll be adding some more shots from the series later (following the 24 hour DPS forum rules)

Lovely kite shots! I love the colors you've achieved in the 2nd & 3rd shots especially, beautiful.

Nice shots, Sparda. Great work replacing the sky in the first. I'd have never known! Well done. TFS

Good shots and nice PS job. I like the second shot best, so dramatic and vintage.

you did what? that sky looks so natural..cant imagine that it was not the original one..
love the color of the 3rd shot..the kid with the pole is really redefining the art of kite-flying..maybe there is a whole scientific explanation to it..(you need to try and tell us how it goes..)

Thanks Jim. I intentionally put it as the 1st shot, and mention about it at the bottom. This way I can get better opinion about it.

You can see the original shot in my flickr page. The original sky was blown..
That kid got tired of the pole soon after. Must be because it was difficult to control.
