This my 8000th (8001 really) post is dedicated to David aka JakethePig, through whose love, support, persistence and example got me out shooting again when I had no desire to ever pick up my camera again.

David DH, these shots are for you because without you they would not have been taken. You showed me that my camera could transport me to a different world where almost anything seen through the lens can be beautiful.

You taught me to see the beauty right before my eyes...


To Reflect upon things...




and, that not everything works out the way we expect, but it can still be okay...
