Default Have you ever had a moment like this......

I was observing these people fishing when I saw the guy by himself on the left fishing rod bend, I watched to see if he had caught a fish, yes he had, cool! I then watched him reel it in, it wasn't until he put the fish on the rocks beside him, out of my sight, that I finally clicked...or in this case didn't click...that I should have taken a photo as that was why I was standing there with a camera in my hand observing these people in the first place...Duh!!!!!!!!

Guy on the left caught a big fish

Fishing boat.

Incoming fishing boat and a Lady Statue with a seagull on her head. (The seagull is real.)

And this gorgeous sunset finished off what was a fun filled day.

Tonight sunset

Looks like a great day had by all Angela. I can just imagine you stood there waiting for the perfect opportunity, then being so enthralled by the spectacle, you missed the chance. Brave confession. Got some good ones anyhow. PAUL

Hehe! Love your story Angela. I do that all the time - I'm too busy watching the people that I forget I have a camera with me (and that that's why I'm watching them in the first place!). Love the boats, and the seagull on the statue is hilarious.

Another wonderful set, Angela. You know, it's not a bad thing to get so involved in seeing that you forget to take a photo! I think it is wonderful to be so very present in a moment like that. You'll always have that one in your memory. Besides, you gave us that gorgeous sunset to make up for the missed photo!
