Default A few scrounged pics...and a contest winner!

...so, I've been away for a few weeks, and having been missing DPS terribly. The first of the year is always busy for my company...big companies like Texas Instruments with newly approved budgets wanting to spend lot of money! I can't ignore it!! LOL

Anyway, here are a few shots that have been sitting in my camera for a while that I finally downloaded today.

Boring old cobblestone road in downtown Munich, Germany. I love how the pattern was laid out.

...another shot from my lightsaber set. My kids were in the backyard playing with their lightsabers again (pre-wrist breakage), and here's how one of them turned out. Very cool, but I'm not done experimenting yet.

I also wanted to share one of my favorite shots ever...the b/w Bavarian Tree. I shot this one (posted here on DPS before) while in Bavaria, Germany last month.

Now...I have to say...I would never abandon DPS for another site. You're the only site for me. I would never even look at another site, baby. Why would I got out for dial up when I've got DSL at home??? The other sites mean nothing to me...I was just curious, baby!

Sorry...I couldn't resist. I wanted to try to increase my web presence, so I tried posting this shot on another site, fotofanatic.com, and I actually won Photo Of The Month with it.
Check it out: Photo of the Month for December 2009 from FotoFanatic.com

Again, great shots. I really love the light saber ones, the colors are great and you somehow capture the fun of it even in a silhouette. The tree shot is my absolute favorite, congrats on the contest win! I guess we can share you with another site.
