Thanks everyone..............john, i very seldom use a tripod for wildlife. Always on the move and you have a split second to get the shot. If i was shooting ducks on a pond or something like that, i would use one. Always use a rest when you can. I do use a monopod alot of times, but this one was freehand. |

Nice balance of details and softness in the feathers.. the down on the tail looks like down, not so easy to get that. Even though it's almost like I take for granted alot of what you do... I noticed the framing and the postion of the head right away.. plenty of room to swim into and the Goose is looking at something... Great Job Buddy !
