Default Here's some water we won't be stopping in a hurry!!

Huka Falls NZ largest Falls draining from Lake Taupo. Up to 220,000 liters per second gush's through this 20 metre approx gap and fall ing approx 11 metres. This is one of the worlds natural wonders and is the largest tourist attraction in NZ, so I thought I would share my version of the falls.

The start of the falls

The gut

Some spectators viewing the falls

Huka Falls

The power is uncontrolable

Blue water

And a closer look

Blue water closeup

Thanks for viewing my version of the Huka Falls, cheers Steve.

Wow amazing set Steve. Is that the natural color of the water? I guess only in America do we have green water.

Thanks Chad for your comments and yes the colour of the water is reflected from blue light and the air bubbles in the water intensify the colour, apparently making this a world wide natural wonder, cheers Steve.

Wonderful shots Steve. If harnessed this could create loads of electricity, but unfortunately ruin it's beauty I suppose. Thanks for these. PAUL

Hi Vimalk, I was standing on a bridge to take the first shot, the gorge has a bridge crossing to get to the other side viewing platform shown in the second shot, thanks for viewing, cheers Steve.
