a day in central oregon

this past september we went to a wonderful place in central oregon, called brasada ranch {located in powell butte, oregon}. it is beautiful. these are just a couple of shots from my time there. by the end of the weekend, i think i had about 1,000 shots on my memory card and my husband was in shock that i would have taken so many pictures... he just doesn't understand! since we are now in the middle of winter, i'm using these as a way to go back to a warmer time!

this is a lake located at the ranch, i have not edited the sky at all, it was this beautiful all on it's own!


this is the wooden golf bridge you have to drive under to get to the houses themselves.. i think it looks old and worn in black and white...


i have loved this picture from the moment i took it, just something about it speaks to me- i have no idea why, i'm strange like that!


just playing with my camera while my kids were swimming in the pool. love water, something about it is so calming~
