Smile my first post. plz be gentle.
hello, i havent introduced myself yet but my name is jorge garcia and i just purchased my first dslr and have zero photography experience. i have the pentax k-x which, for me, has been awesome. i have been reading the articles and post on this site and have found this to be the best photography site ive seen. well enough about me, here are some pics ive taken since receiving my camera from amazon.com this past friday. i have taken roughly 500 pics over the last few days. please let me know what you think. i have listed the setting i used on my flickr page.

Welcome to DPS Jorge. I understand that you are excited about sharing your photos but the Critique section rules only allow one photo to be posted every 24 hours. Since you don't seem to have a specific critique question, your photos may get a wider audience in the Share Your Shots section.

Beautifull composition and reflection. I looked trough your photostream and your night shots are very nice.
