Default Squirrels!

Just got my first DSLR, decided to go with the nikon d3000 since I'm still relatively inexperienced at this whole photography thing! So far the camera seems very easy to use but I still have so much more to learn.. Anyway, here a few pictures I took with it:

Very nice shots. Those are either the wierdest colored squirrels or your white balance is off.

Great choice of camera. I have a nikon d90 and love but also have heaps to learn. I love squirrels and these are great shots especially the second one, such a cute face and great perspective.

Hello Kristin - well certainly a great set from your new toy ... you'll get the hang of it as you take more photos with it .. taking photos in the snow is not an easy task, but you did very good ...

Kristin, WELCOME to DPS
I'd swear that squirrel was interacting with you...lol
Are they really that color? I've never seen squirrels like that before. Fabulous shots.

I have seen orange squirrels in certain parts of the country. They're weird. There are also Albino squirrels.

Colors not too far off for Fox(red) Squirrels. We have them here in Missouri and I have seen some close to the color of your photo. I think you took some great shots even if they were blue squirrels. Thanks for sharing.
