Default Would you like a laugh today????

And it was all in my backyard. These are technically not the best of shots but they are funny.

This squirrel's nest is at least two stories high up in my pecan tree. I could see something orange up there and thought it was a bird of some sort. When I got my camera and telephoto lens out I could see it was one of my dog's tug toys. I almost fell on the ground I was laughing so hard. The dogs are always taking toys outside, so I guess the squirrel just took advantage of the fact.

Squirrel toy LOL

When I started laughing the squirrel actually popped up out of the nest and was trying to pull the toy further into the nest. I think it was stuck on a limb and he couldn't get it all the way into his nest. Funniest thing I've ever seen. Thank God for my telephoto lens.

Playing with the toy

Hope you get a laugh from it. I'm still laughing over it.

LOL ! Funny indeed , and looks to be a plush toy of sorts . Smart little fellow to use it for insulation...or to taunt the doggies

TFS,
-John

Thanks John. It is a plush toy, one that had an extra long body that they played tug with. I think it was to taunt the dogs. LOL
