Default Statues and Snow

My First Snow photo's are in. I don't know if it's a great job or a crap job... I am somewhere in the middle.

winter 2010

Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture: f/6.3
Focal Length: 95 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: +2/3 EV

winter 2010

Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture: f/6.3
Focal Length: 80 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: +2/3 EV

Proud to say that this photo shoot was total manual as well. Not one auto shot. Auto focus maybe, but nothing else.

Good shots there my friend!! LOVE the bridge. And the statue thing of the tiger thingy is really funny. Classic. Very well done. TFS.

Hey, it's—thanks, Wikipedia—Romulus and Remus! I love the depth and new element the snow brings to the shot. And a pat on the back for you for nailing the manual exposure! I haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet. But it sure looks like you have! Nice!

Good work on these, especially for getting into manual! I'm just barely there myself, and the challenge is worth it, don't you think?

Yeah, I used up a 4gb card taking pictures, and only got about 20 that are half way ok... I still have a lot to work on with the manual focus. it's harder than I thought it would be... plus with 19 degree weather it's even more tough IMHO.
