Default Boats on the bay, Monterey September 2009

Boats in the Bay Sept 2009

I took this on one of my many trips to the Monterey Bay area, my favorite location for pictures. I think the clouds were part of a storm system that was coming into the area the next day.

Pentax K2000, 1/2 second exposure, f/4.5, ISO 800 20mm focal length, manual exposure

Thanks. The name comes from what Gilroy is called, "Garlic Capital of the World" and home of the Gilroy Garlic Festival. The avatar I made up about the time The Simpsons movie came out. You could create your own character, Simpsons-style, and decided to make one of myself.

It's gorgeous, and it's on my short list of places to retire to. I'm very fortunate that it's within about 40 minutes of my home, and there are many places there I haven't taken pictures of, so lots of new material to find.
