Default A river runs through it

OK I guess under it.

Winter Bridge

This is the same bridge from a couple months back. Interesting to visit the same place in different seasons. It will be interesting to go get another picture in spring.

I like the first shot alot better...both the snow and the greater distance from your subject enhance the image

Nice set, but I would have to agree with Patrick about the 1st pic.

I love both photos. I'm certain the second is an HDR image - not sure about the first. As for the composition - I like them both, but I'm partial to the first like those that commented above. I think the second image could have been complimented by something in the foreground - possibly even something centered in front of the arch would have been interesting.

Thanks for sharing both at the same time - it helps to have some perspective to the shot!

I like number 1.

I like the black and white, and pop of red. 'black' water, 'black' trees, white snow, 'white' sky, then the pop of red/brown leaves.

Great! Looking foreward to the spring photo.

The snow picture is a three shot fuse instead of HDR'd. Basically it is another option for combining the dynamic range of three images. I used Photomatix for both.

What a wonderful idea, to photograph this lovely little bridge in a variety of seasons. I too would choose the first as a favorite -- I really like the composition with a little more context for the bridge and the wonderful leaves. But that's not saying I don't like the second, because I do! You're going to have a wonderful bridge collection here, with a variety of moods. Just great.
