I like how the yellow is the only vivid color and so grounds me in the picture, but I also love the tone the lone plant brings to this shot. So lonely yet resilient. This is a very well-executed and artistic shot. I love it!

@hayward--yes, this was taken from my car...from the sound of it, i just knew i'd have a bunch of dents, but no dents at all. i thought i'd find a bunch of chips in my windshield, bt fortunately no damage was done at all.

@bethard728--yea, it was pretty scary. we could not see a thing, and we had to stop in the middle of the lane; couldn't even see to pull over to the shoulder.

That's a great shot, you can almost feel the hail on the roof. Might even have been worth a dent or two for a shot like that!

@kgb--thx for your comment! that storm was pretty scary! it was blinding rain and ice balls...could not see a thing!!
