Default Frostrøyk

The Norwegian word "Frostrøyk" means something like "water vapour" This phenomenon is quite common in Norway, but at the moment it is extreme. This water vapour is around 75 meters high. All the "fog" you see here is "frostrøyk"...

Did you say... 75 meters high?! Wow! I'm kind of glad we don't have that where I live. Then again, it would make a good photo opportunity...

Anyhow, love the shot and kudos for getting yourself out in the cold to take it!

I'd love to see a bigger shot! But that is amazing, 75m high of water vapor that is crazy talk for us Oklahomans!

Awesome shot! Would love to be there myself just to see it! What an awesome experience for those of us not lucky enough to witness stuff! TFS.

Nice capture. Looks alot like a scene from my neighborhood. We recently had alot of icefog here but not at the 246 foot height. Very impressive.
