Default First Best Camera app Picture

This is the first decent picture taken with my iPhone using Chase Jarvis' The Best Camera app. Great tool to use if you have an iPhone.

The picture is of my 2 year old daughter "cleaning up" after I made dessert last night.

That is the best way to "clean up"! Licking the beaters! She's a cutie!

I always try and get to the utensils first before the kids, and I'm 62! She looks scrumptious. PAUL

I'd get a camera, if I were you. Lighting is terrible, focus is soft, light fall-off is shocking.

Your daughter is cute, though.

Have a camera, was just playing with the one on my phone. Lighting in this one is certainly less than ideal. Lit by a floor lamp with tan shade blasting into the white ceiling, camera right and very high. Also lit by a 42" TV directly behind and above camera. Unfortunately the iPhone does not yet have a means of triggering an off camera flash, otherwise I would have used my umbrella set-up and maybe a reflector. And as far as focus.... well remember that this is a fixed lens with auto-focus only, so you get what you can.

Here is one of her with a more ideal lighting set-up, taken with my Canon T1i. Lighting provided by a Canon 430 EXII camera left and high, shooting through an umbrella. Foam core reflector camera left. This is my first real portrait using the umbrella as I just bought my first one.
