Today would have been Elvis Presley's 75th birthday..So i thought it was fitting to pay tribute to the man who gave so much to his fans. For me the love has never died.

Aw, what a lovely tribute. A very tragic end to a great man's life. So handsome, and what a voice!

Yes it was so sad..I always dreamed of going to Graceland and when i moved to the usa and went to memphis it was amazing to actually be in his house.. I hope to get back there again now i have a better camera and get those shots i missed.

This is a lovely tribute to a great man Lorraine. He influenced the lives of many people and I know how much you loved him.

Lorraine, how wonderful. I was living in Portland Maine, and he was due at a concert there when he died...I have always loved his music, especially his hymns.

I think no matter what anyone's personal likes or dislikes are, no one can deny his influence. A great tragedy like many high profile stars...they seem to have everything but obviously cant handle to fame well and turn to drugs etc.
His music will live on and hopefully we can focus on his great talent. I took this photo from a plate i bought at Graceland. I loved the photo and had to have it along with a ton of other stuff

Were you planning to go to the concert? i can only imagine the electric atmosphere at one them and the many screaming ladies lol
A great talent gone to early in his life.

I would not have been able at the time Lorraine, but it would have been a loss...as it turned out...even a greater loss.
