Default Myrtle the Turtle

Actually, his name isn't Myrtle, its KEVIN...cuz what else would you call a turtle!?

This is my sister's and her fiance's turtle, Kevin, they hope to get a Kyra soon. Think what you will about reptilian pets (is a turtle a reptile?) but this little guy is cute. I used the pic of my son's reflection for my pic for day 8 of my 365project. I think it also gives you a bit of an idea how small this little guy is! My son is only 18 months old, so that's a small finger pointing at him!

Awfully cool first shot, I like it. The turtle itself is really neat, you captured him (the turtle) very well. I like the 3rd shot, and your depth of field is great in shot #2.

Thanks! I love the first one, too. My son didn't know what to think of the turtle.

As for the fish, they are supposed to be the turtle's food, but he's not fast enough to catch them! hahaha! Maybe when he's bigger!

Very clever. I like the reflection of your son in the first shot. Well done.
