Default Four at the opera house.

Had quite a few hours to kill at the Sydney (Australia) opera house over the xmas-new year break.
These are my faves.

(1)
Circular Quay reflected.
Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 15
Aperture: f/14.0
Focal Length: 12 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

(2) Just a selective B&W conversion (there was a concert, in tghe concert hall, in progress.so the interior was lit up).

One night at the opera house (4)

Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 2.5
Aperture: f/7.1
Focal Length: 12 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

(3) During intermission (I was attending a concert)
Intermission at the opera house (3)

Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/5.0
Focal Length: 20 mm
ISO Speed: 1600
Exposure Bias: -1 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

(4) The exterior can be a great place for shooting wild life as the birds are not scarred of people.
Tourist & local.
Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/10.0
Focal Length: 12 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: -2/3 EV

Thanks for looking.
Richard

I was there 3 years ago Richard and a typical non photog tourist taking typical tourist shots. I wish I had an interest in photography then and took (or tried to take) wonderful shots like these. I love them. Thanks. PAUL

These are superb pictures. The 2nd one is a great image, and the 3rd is very, very well composed.

@Paul.
It does help if you live 40 minutes drive, but not in peak hour, away.
