Default Looking up and wondering...Why am I here?

I took a quick shot of this beautiful animal and the look on his face was almost painfull as he looked up as to say why are am I here and I felt he should be back in the wild with all of his friends

Looking up

Thanks for viewing this capture, cheers Steve.

Thats a Nat. Geographic shot there Steve. Definately pulls at the heart strings. Pity they caged up in a zoo, but guess thats one way to help their species considering what man has done to their environment. TFS.

Thanks Michelle for your kind words, cheers Steve. At least in the ZOO they are safe.

Is this taken from "Planet of the apes"? Or from Kubrick's "2001"?

I was suspecting it, but dramatic lighting, post processing and expression make it look like a cel from a movie. Very nice capture, I forgot to say.

Thanks chrean, it was a zoom in and capture, then crop and conversion to B and W, cheers Steve.
