Default New born 6 days

Yeah it's a newborn but not of human. But it is a child to the Mother Nature (one of the many of billions and billions).

One of my other hobby besides photography is flowers. This is a seedling of a Chrysanthemum seed which I planted 6 days ago. Cannot help but to get nonplussed thinking about the power that's in the soil. How many of us has ever stopped to take soil in hands and thanked it? And gone mad thinking over what lies in it and what has it done to us and all the creatures.

Lovely shot! I really love the sun rays shining down on the seedling. I also get like that too when the plants in the vege garden spring into life! Its great to be able to reap what you sow (although I have kinda had enough of cauliflower for now....) . TFS.

i can very well relate to the power of the soil in nurturing life..my father is a farmer and we always hope for a good harvest every season..some are good..other times not very well because of floods or drought..he keeps telling us that the climate is really changing..

i like to take photos of those little guys too..hope you dont mind if i share mine here..

What an awe-inspiring shot....it is amazing and your words are so thought provoking as well. The only time I have ever been able to garden was the two years I lived in South Africa and I found it heals the pain in your heart and soul. I really miss it.

Superb capture my friend.
Your picture made me think twice about the value of soil.
