Arrow Join me on my trip - III - Lets take a walk in the breezy night

Like I said, we got a good location to stay, now you'll see why.
We are just one block off the South end of the Vegas Strip, on the Tropicana East.
If you guys are all set then we'll go for a short walk and
then have some good food. I know its too easy to get carried away by the glitz of Vegas
and stay up all night out but we have to keep it short
because tomorrow 6 in the morning we have a bus to catch..
yoou'll find out where we are going, for now lets head
out and enjoy the cold breezy winter night.
Get your gear ready good things are comin up.

Just step out of the door of Hooters and right in front is the truly grand MGM Grand..its simply massive

and look here, just across the Statue of liberty, Empire state Building???? Did we board a wrong flight?
Oh its New york New york casino!!

Just walk over to the intersection and right in front of you is like a castle The Excalibur Casino

And whats that light that's touching sky, Sphynx & Pyramid??!! It's the Luxor
That beam of light coming out of the top of the pyramid can be seen almost from anywhere in Vegas

We should probably find a place to eat our dinner now and later we can take some more pictures on the walk back. Hope you guys enjoying so far.

Beautiful shots. but...
Too bad that being a stargazer, I look at them and think what a huge source of light pollution Las Vegas is.

Brilliant shots, all of them. I love the way you've caught the sheer mass of the MGM Grand, and I adore the Luxor sky beam beaming past the moon*.

I'll try to keep up, it's just that I've got this bucket of quarters....

*That shot just cries out for a PP insertion of a huge 3/4 moon in the background.

Absolutely amazing AC. If I never see this place live, I've had the next best thing. I have an allocation for the machines though, and once thats gone, well, that's it, I'll get some more. The shots are great, and the walk stimulating. C U Later. PAUL

That's a point of view, you are probably right, but imagine Vegas without these lights, whats will be left just some buildings in the desert..

Thanks Jim, The thought of inserting a bigger moon crossed even my mind, its just too perfect to do that.

Vegas is probably an experience to be had live...nothing would probably come close to that.
