In outback Australia they make do with what they've got. If you need a road sign, just make one from a 44 gallon drum. This is an example of good old Aussie ingenuity. Although not technically great shots I had to share these two that a friend of mine took just recently travelling close to Uluru (Ayers rock) in central Australia.
By the way, roughly translated they mean "slow down" and " safe to speed up again" ![]() ![]() There was a large dip in the road between these two signs

Glad you guys got some humour out of this. As I said the shots aren't technically great (taken with a Canon point and shoot) but you have to laugh at the idea behind them. Also I spoke to a friend today who did this track 8 years ago and saw these signs. So they have stood the test of time.
