Default Popped in for lunch

With this chilly weather continuing I have been putting out plenty of food for the hungry birds. Main visitors included Blue tits, Blackbirds and the ever plucky Robins.
Tried to photograph them but hard to get close with the kit lens and too cold to sit out with the 300mm on a tripod!
Here are some shots, cropped to get closer views (so best Not viewed large lol!).

Robins (not a patch on David's recent shots!)

Lovely images mate, you have captured nature and winter at it's finest here. Love the composition and colours in them. Well done on these super images. Thanks for sharing them.

Paula, I like how the colors of the robins stand out against the snow, and your third one with the second blackbird in the background is a delight! Very nice.

Hi Paula, nice shots. Especially like the 1st and 4th shots. The 2nd shot has that nice hint of soft lighting which is good. TFS
