Thanks guys! It seems to be working real hard!

@chicagojosh: Yeah, it's a good lens, sharp even wide open, but you gotta watch the shallow depth of field. The VR works too, within reason of course. This was taken handheld, but at very fast shutter of 1/1000, ISO 200, f/3.3...
